Finding a yoga school is easy...
Choosing the right yoga teacher training school is the challenge.
If you feel overwhelmed about which yoga school and yoga style you should choose for your foundational or advanced yoga teacher training, whether it is in Europe or India, you are not the only one. Most everyone is.
- Traditional yoga schools (in India) can leave you full of knowledge but lacking the teaching skills to share it.
- Modern yoga training programs can teach you advanced postures but without the traditional foundation that underpins them.
- Finding a yoga school that does both exceptionally well is rare.
At Alpha Yoga School we offer
A yoga training that balances traditional wisdom with modern science.
A course that teaches you what to teach, how to teach it, and why to teach it.
A program where ancient knowledge is used to transform your modern lifestyle.
So, why Alpha Yoga School?
We have been there ourselves
We learned the hard way so that you can learn the smart way...In one training.
Since 2014, we have spent over 3,000 hours training hundreds of Yoga teachers. Although that number is impressive, it is not the quantity which you should be impressed by. It is the quality of our students. This is what we are most proud of.
Years ago we made the decision to stop teaching classes in yoga studios and dedicate all of our efforts to creating the most comprehensive yoga teacher training possible. To become specialists. To teach the teachers. And that is exactly what we have done.

We have intentionally taught and studied Yoga in India, the USA, and Europe. Why? So we can teach you the ancient lineage of Ashtanga yoga and the modern style of Vinyasa flow yoga with great emphasis on balancing both. Not many yoga schools quite nailed this.
As well as devising the best curriculums, we are also obsessed with transformation. We love to witness the changes in our students' practice and in their mindsets. Seeing our graduates teach what they love and having their students love what they teach.
Our new yoga teachers (200-hr YTT) begin their careers with confidence that only competence and skill can provide. Our advanced yoga teachers (300-hr YTT) leave with a new level of sophistication. Through honing their craft and refining their technique, they leave with clarity and certainty of their value.
Words can hardly describe the experience. But this video gets pretty close.

The time is never perfect
If you wait for everything to fall into place you may be waiting a lifetime. Transformation requires change and change requires action.
Ask yourself. If you pass on this opportunity, postpone the decision, and do nothing, a year from today, will you hear praise for how much this yoga training had changed you? Will you have a solid yoga practice, feel fit, and teach your clients and friends a healthy lifestyle?
Probably NOT. You will still wish it and want it but you won't have any of it.
Face it. Most of what you need is action, instruction, and encouragement.

The universe likes speed. Don't delay. Don't second guess. When the opportunity is there, when the impulse is there, when the intuitive nudge is there, ACT! That's your job.
Ok. So here it is...
The dream murdering reasons
The biggest reason people never go through yoga teacher training is that they believe that they don't have what it takes. Like...
"I need to be young, thin, and flexible". No!
Taking your practice to a new level doesn’t always mean adding crazy postures. It means practicing with more awareness in your body. An advanced yoga practitioner doesn’t always make a great yoga teacher. Teaching yoga is a different skill than practicing Yoga.
"People will think I’m a phoney. That I don't have what it takes to be a teacher." Really?
The purpose of Yoga Teacher Training is that you’ll realize that the physical practice can be tailored to any person. Yoga is for everybody and every BODY.
Different body types may find different yoga poses more accessible. There are always modifications and preparation poses even for the most advanced asanas.
"There’s so much to learn! All I know about is the Yoga poses".
So, how do you know that you are ready? The simple answer is, that you never do, not until you try. Every journey must start somewhere. Things worth learning, take time.
You will be offered the tools, safe space, and opportunities to practice and teach. You will receive detailed feedback on how to improve.
All you need to do is try, make mistakes, learn, adapt, and repeat.
"There are already so many yoga teachers out there", or "someone is already teaching the niche that I want to teach." Let us shout this to you. IT DOESN’T MATTER! Why?
There is only one you. There is NO ONE out there with the same message or gifts to share as you do. You are unique and you can bring to the table what no one else can.
For every yoga teacher, there's a student.
We could write thousands of words about our yoga training. But we prefer the students to do the talking.
