This Yoga Teacher Training will take place in the heart of Drepano, just a short walk from the beach. It is perfect for travelers looking for convenience, comfort, and everything nearby. Green hills, mountains, orange orchards, sparkling sea, and ancient olive trees surround this location. The combination of sea and landscape creates the perfect setting for a yoga teacher training (YTT) experience. The retreat center is conveniently located a 2.5-hour drive from Athens Airport.

200hr YTT Dates in West Peloponnese, South Greece
Early Bird All-inclusive Prices (deposit required 60 days before start date)
- The above prices already include a 150€ early-bird discount. To take advantage of this, reserve your spot 60 days before the course starts. (25th March 2027)
- A deposit of 500€ is required to reserve your spot. The remaining balance must be paid six weeks before the course starts to secure your place. Alpha Yoga School and the Retreat Center’s conditions and terms apply. Read our payment and cancellation policy here.
- What’s included? Accommodation, meals, tuition fee, and your study manual. Meals include breakfast, a light lunch, dinner, water, tea, and coffee. These are provided even on your days off.
- This teacher training is residential and will take place at the Triton II hotel in Drepano, Greece. The yoga studio and rooms are located in the same building. The sea is just 300 meters away.
- Book your flights to Athens Airport for the first day of the course and ideally land before 2:00 p.m. Book your return flight on the last day of the course after midday.
- We arrange group transportation from Athens Airport to the retreat center so you can relax as soon as you set foot in Greece. The cost of transportation is not included in the price. (around 50-70€ one way when shared).
- The retreat center provides students with accommodation upon request, but reserves the right to make changes if unforeseen circumstances arise.

Triton II hotel offers single, twin, and triple rooms.
- Single room: One double bed
- Twin shared: Two beds or a bed and a sofa-bed
- Triple shared: Two beds and a sofa-bed
All rooms have their own bathrooms, WiFi, air-conditioning, a small kitchenette, a hairdryer, mosquito nets, and a terrace where you can relax. There’s a huge on-site swimming pool, plenty of space for self-study, relaxation, privacy, or just staring out at the sea. The sea is just a short stroll away. Roommates will be assigned to all shared rooms unless otherwise requested. If you want to secure a single room, book it months in advance, as we only offer 4 of these rooms.

The retreat center’s kitchen caters to all breakfasts, afternoon snacks, and dinners for this 200-hour YTT. Their chef provides fresh, vegetarian, and vegan cuisine using only the finest local produce and ingredients. Specializing in traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes, their goal is to satisfy a wide range of palates through balanced nutrition.
While this Yoga Teacher Training is not your typical organic farm retreat, you can still look forward to enjoying nourishing meals, abundant love, and genuine Greek-style hospitality throughout your stay.
Breakfasts are buffet-style, and students can help themselves to as much food as they need. Light lunches include refreshing salad, pie, wrap, or pizza. Dinners are served, and they are the best time of the day. You must experience this because we cannot put it into words… Their own olive oil is the best oil you have ever tasted….
Breakfast includes Greek yogurt, fresh fruits, vegetables, eggs, bread, sliced cheese, feta, Greek pies, desserts, oats, honey, Nutella, tahini, pancakes, fresh homemade marmalades, butter, fresh coffee, tea, fruit juice, nuts, and olives from their own orchards.
The vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, and any other special menu costs 100 €/per person for the whole course. Please inform us in advance if you are considering this option. Within a five-minute walk, you can also find many traditional seaside tavernas serving local cuisine, fish, and meat.

How to get to the retreat center in Peloponnese
- Book your flight to Athens Airport (ATH) on the 25th of May, ideally landing before 2:00 pm.
- Once you book your flights, you will share your complete travel details on a Google Drive Excel Sheet.
- We will arrange a private shuttle bus to pick you up from the airport around 3:00 pm and bring you to the retreat center.
- The driver meets all students at the airport and drops you off at the retreat center. Please note that pick-up is unavailable from the Athens center or your individual Airbnb apartments.
- Travel time from Athens Airport to the retreat center is around 2,5 hours.
- The shared cost depends on the number of students and can be around 50-70€/person. Private taxis can also be arranged upon request.
- The same shuttle bus will pick you up from the hotel on the morning of the 13th of June and take you to the airport. Ideally, book a flight after midday.
What can I find close to the retreat center?
Drepano is renowned for its beautiful sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Plaka Beach, the most famous beach in the area, is well-maintained, has comfortable sunbeds, and has the green mountains as a backdrop. And it’s just meters from the retreat center.Â
The village of Drepano is a five-minute walk from the retreat center. It retains the charm of a traditional Greek coastal village—you must visit to see what we mean. You will find a pharmacy, supermarkets, coffee shops, a fresh bakery, and many local tavernas here. with delicious food. If you’re a foodie, this is your place. Pretty much everything you need is right there…
From Drepano, you can take a bus or a taxi and visit the historic town of Nafplio in just 15 minutes. Nafplio is one of Greece’s most beautiful and culturally rich cities and a must-see destination. We recommend visiting Nafplio on a half-day off or on a full day off.

How can I get to the retreat center by public bus?Â
If you wish to come alone, you can take three public buses from Athens Airport.
- Take Express Bus X93 (6€) from the airport and get off at the last bus stop. You will arrive at the Intercity Bus Station on Kifissou Avenue. This ride will take about an hour. Walk about 5 minutes to Drakontos Street 78. This is where the bus departs from.
- Take the intercity bus to Nafplio.
- From Nafplio, take the bus to Drepano.
- Walk or take a taxi to the retreat center.

Pretty much everything you need. The retreat center is conveniently located super close to sea-vilization. It’s near the water and near Drepano village, which has pretty much everything. Plaka Beach offers a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. However, it comes to life with restaurants, music, sunbeds, drinks, coffee shops, and everything else you can imagine.
What can I buy from the retreat center? Do they accept card?
The retreat center offers coffee, drinks, and à la carte food. Laundry is also available for an extra cost, and you can use your card to pay for these services.

How many students do you accept per course?
We limit our groups to 22-26 students. This is a perfect number for both students and teachers. Students can experience the benefits of group energy and practice real teaching scenarios, while teachers can provide the personal attention students need and deserve.
Is there a written and / or practical exam on the 200-Hour YTTC?
Do you offer an internship yoga program?
How is the weather in Greece in the summer?
May and June are the perfect summer months in Greece. It’s not too hot, and it is definitely warm. You can enjoy your free time on the beach sunbathing and swimming. Prepare to sweat in the morning classes, no matter the month :-))
What should I pack? Do I need to bring my yoga mat?
Once you reserve your spot, you will have access to a Google Drive Folder with all the information you need: tips on booking your flights, what to bring, how to prepare for the course, suggested reading, and so on. The retreat center provides basic mats for your use. However, if you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own mat for added comfort. Alternatively, you can bring a yoga towel to place over the provided mats, and you’re ready to go.
