Reservation Deposit

1. To reserve a spot in the yoga teacher training course, the applicant is required to submit a deposit of €500. This deposit is non-refundable and remains fully transferable to a future Alpha Yoga School Yoga Teacher Training Course within 12 months, up until 56 days before the yoga course start date.

2. Payment methods may include direct bank transfer, payment link, credit/debit card payment, or PayPal. The applicant is responsible for any additional transaction or exchange-rate charges incurred.

Second Payment and Remaining Balance

Terms and Conditions for Students with Paid Reservation Deposit (€500)

Single Occupancy Package

The outstanding balance:

  1. To secure a single occupancy package, students must make a second payment of at least €1,000 no later than 56 days before the yoga course start date. This second payment is non-refundable and can be fully transferred to a future YTT course up until 56 days before the yoga course start date. Beyond this point, the second payment becomes partially transferable to a future YTT course within 12 months.
  2. To secure single occupancy in the high-season months of July, August, and September, students must make a second payment of at least €1,000 no later than 56 days (8 weeks) before the yoga course start date. If you cancel your spot within the last 56 days before the yoga course start date, the payment is non-refundable and non-transferable to another room, YTT course, or location, for any reason.
  3. You must settle the remaining balance in cash upon arrival. We may not accept credit card payments or other online payments for the remaining balance upon arrival unless agreed in advance.
Shared Occupancy Packages

The outstanding balance:

  1. Partially settled through another bank transfer, payment link, credit/debit card payment, or PayPal. The applicant is responsible for any additional transaction or exchange-rate charges incurred. Complete this 56 days before the yoga course start date. Beyond this point, the second payment becomes non-refundable and partially transferable to a future YTT course within 12 months.
  2. You must settle the remaining balance in cash upon arrival. We may not accept credit card payments or other online payments for the remaining balance upon arrival unless agreed in advance.

Cancellation Policy for all Packages

If you cancel within 56 days of the course start date, we will retain a percentage of your payment for each week closer to the training. This policy reflects the limited time we have to find a replacement student and the cost we commit to in advance. Alpha Yoga School runs 5 yoga teacher training courses per year, with intentionally small groups and every spot counts.

Example:

  • Cancellation within 56 – 43 days before the yoga course start date: 50% of the 2nd payment retained.
  • Cancellation within 42 – 29 days before the yoga course start date: 75% of the 2nd payment retained.
  • Cancellation within the last 28 days before the yoga course start date: 100% of the 2nd payment retained. The last 28 days include the yoga course start date.
